Making Your Mayo Wedding Day Uniquely Yours – Imelda and Niall’s Wedding

Imelda and Niall planned a Mayo wedding that would be uniquely them.  They wanted their day to tell their love story, show their personalities and celebrate it all as part of their Mayo wedding day.  Our job was to capture all that in their images, creating wedding images that tell the story of their day, celebrated in their special way. Imelda and Niall are proud Mayo farmers, with a long farming tradition in both of their families.  Theirs is a life lived on the land, and they wanted to reflect that in their wedding day.  Niall even arrived on a tractor to the church!given their home was on the way from the church to their wedding reception venue, the Diamond Coast Hotel in Enniscrone, we stopped at the farm for what turned out to be the highlight of their Mayo wedding image. Afterwards, we took a stroll on the bride and groom’s land and shot some candid wedding images as we walked.  This can be my favourite time of a wedding day.  It’s probably the first time they spend alone together on the day, just having a chat and a laugh about everything that’s happened.  For Niall and Imelda, it meant taking their wedding portraits on their land. That was so special as it’s the heart of their world, the place that means most to them both.  The result is a set of relaxed, intimate, documentary style wedding portraits that are gorgeous.  These really are images they’ll treasure forever! Of course, their wedding theme didn’t end there!  There were tractor cake toppers and a tractor themed wedding table plan. They really had such attention to detail in their wedding planning!
